People’s Leasing 30th Anniversary Celebration
People’s Leasing & Finance PLC marked its 30th anniversary with a special celebration held at its Head Office on 2nd June 2026. The event brought together employees to commemorate three decades of excellence, growth, and service in the financial services sector. The celebration was attended by former CEO Mr. D.P. Kumarage, Chairman Prof. Ajantha Samarakoon, CEO/General Manager Mr. Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, the Senior Management team, and staff members.
To ensure the participation of employees across the country, the event was broadcast live to all branch offices through the organization’s internal PEO TV Channel 603. The anniversary celebration featured a ceremonial cake-cutting, symbolizing the company’s successful journey over the past 30 years and its continued commitment to serving customers and stakeholders. The event also provided an opportunity for employees to reflect on the organization’s achievements and celebrate the collective efforts that have contributed to People’s Leasing’s growth and success as one of Sri Lanka’s leading financial institutions.
