PLC Toastmasters shines at Ovation 2026
PLC Toastmasters proudly represented People’s Leasing & Finance PLC at the
District 82 Year-End Conference, Ovation 2026, held at the Shangri-La Hotel
on 16–17 May.
In a night of celebration and recognition, our club brought home six
distinguished awards, with the highlight being the prestigious Golden Club
Award—the highest honor a Toastmasters club can achieve within District 82.
This is not just another accolade—it is a comprehensive recognition of
overall club excellence. To qualify, a club must demonstrate outstanding
performance across multiple dimensions throughout the year, including:

Pathways program, empowering members to grow as communicators and leaders

The Golden Club Award is reserved for clubs that perform exceptionally well
across all these areas—not just in isolation, but consistently throughout the
year. It reflects a culture of discipline, collaboration, and a shared
commitment to excellence.
To achieve this recognition alongside five additional awards in a single
evening places PLC Toastmasters among a select group of high-performing clubs
in the region.
