People’s Leasing Partners with Senok to Offer Special Leasing Facility for Eicher Commercial Vehicles
People’s Leasing & Finance PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading non-bank financial institutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 29th May 2025 with Senok Commercial Vehicles (Pvt) Ltd to introduce a special leasing facility for Eicher commercial vehicles with flexible and accessible leasing facilities.
Through this strategic partnership, customers of People’s Leasing will now have access to attractive and flexible leasing options when purchasing Eicher commercial vehicles from Senok. The initiative is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and businesses across the country by easing access to reliable and cost-efficient transport solutions.
The MOU was officially signed at a ceremony held in People’s Leasing Head Office, attended by senior management from both organizations. Representing Peoples Leasing & Finance PLC were Mr. Sanjeewa Bandaranayake – Chief Executive Officer / General Manager, and Mr. Udesh Gunawardena – Chief Operating Officer while Senok Commercial Vehicles (Pvt) Ltd was represented by Mr. Ranjan Dahanayaka – Deputy Managing Director, and Mr. Upul Chamika – General Manager.
Customers can select either Fixed or Floating interest rates based on their preference, while lease terms can be extended up to seven years. The scheme also includes the option to spread insurance premium payments over 12 months, access an island-wide branch network for convenient transactions, and enjoy additional benefits via the PLC Touch app and PLC Debit Card. Customers who finance their purchases under this programme will also receive exclusive rates on People’s Insurance motor insurance packages, featuring added conveniences such as the Call & Go facility, as well as a co-branded credit card from People’s Bank with the first-year fee waived. Furthermore, customers can pay all the rental payments through People’s Bank CDMA machines under this scheme.
