LLaunch of 'Pay 24' Service - Automated Payment System
People's Leasing Co. Ltd. (PLC) will launch its automated payment system at the People's Leasing City Office premises on the 1st of January 2009 at No. 74, Union Place, Colombo 02, to serve its customers even better. The Chairman of the People's Bank and People's Leasing Co. Ltd. will be the Chief Guest for the event.
"Launch of kiosk terminal linked to the main system as 'Pay 24' at the City Office lobby will enable our customers to make their cheque payments round the clock and make them a part of our value chain." said D.P. Kumarage, CEO/ GM - People's Leasing Co. Ltd.
PLC has also taken measures to strengthen its barcode identification system with two touch screens and a Help Desk based in the same location. A unique identification card for each individual customer facilitates self inquiry for customers regarding their facility details and payment records. The barcode system will eliminate the risk of crediting the payments made by customers to other facilities and enhance the efficiency of business operations at PLC.
