• 1. The 2009/10 Sustainability Report of People's Leasing Company was recognized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) at their "ACCA Sri Lanka Sustainability Reporting Awards 2010" with a Commendation Award in the Medium Scale Category" in February 2011.

  • 2. The Gold classification for Corporate Accountability was bestowed by Sting Consultants in January 2011 assessing the Company's preparedness for effective corporate accountability for the period from 1st January to 31st December 2010.

  • 3. The Gold Award for Corporate Accountability was bestowed on PLC by Sting Consultants, having assessed the Company's
    preparedness for effective corporate accountability based on publicly available information in 2010.

  • 4. The Company also secured the 2nd Runner Up award in the category "Companies with less than Rs. 10 billion turnover" at the Best Corporate Citizen Awards hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in 2010.
