Mr. Gamini Senarath was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of PLC on 28th February 2013.

Mr. Gamini Senarath joined the Sri Lanka Administrative Service in the year 1984 as an Assistant Government Agent. Thereafter, he served as the Assistant Controller and Deputy Controller of the Department of Immigration & Emigration. He has also functioned in the capacity of Senior Assistant Secretary to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation and the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic. He was the former Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.

Mr. Senarath was appointed as the Chief of Staff to His Excellency the President in the year 2009 after his successful tenure as the Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister and as Additional Secretary to the President. Apart from serving as the Chief of Staff to the President, he also performs as the Chairman of People's Bank, Litro Gas Lanka Limited, Litro Gas Terminals Lanka (Private) Limited, and Sri Lanka Insurance Resorts & Spas (Private) Limited.

Mr. Jayakody was appointed as a Director of People's Leasing Company PLC in July 2007. He is also a Director of People's Bank, People's Finance PLC, People's Leasing Fleet Management Limited, People's Leasing Property Development Limited and People's Leasing Havelock Properties Limited.

He was a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Studies and Finance at the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka and holds an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura and a B.Sc. (Administration Special) Degree. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Finance and Development Accounts and a Member of the Institute of Management of Sri Lanka and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) as well.

He has Senior Management experience in accounting, finance, auditing, human resources, training, quality and productivity. He has served in many institutions as an Accountant, Chief Internal Auditor, Deputy General Manager and Additional General Manager. He served as a Reserve Assistant Superintendent of Police and was in charge of the Recruitments and Police Reserve Training Colleges. He has served as a member of the National Labour Advisory Council under the Ministry of Labour and as a Director of the National Livestock Development Board. He has also served in the Faculty of Graduate Studies of Management and Finance and the Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University of Colombo as a visiting lecturer.

Mr. Vasantha Kumar was appointed as a Director of People's Leasing Company PLC in July 2007. He is the Chief Executive Officer at People's Bank and a Director at People's Leasing Havelock Properties Limited.

At present he serves as the Senior Deputy General Manager -Treasury and Investment Banking of People's Bank.

Prior to joining People's Bank in March 2001, Mr. Vasantha Kumar served as Treasurer at ANZ Grindlays Bank, Colombo. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and counts nearly 31 years experience in Treasury Management. He was the Past President of the Association of Primary Dealers and of the Sri Lanka Forex Association.

Mr. Wajira Bandara, was appointed as a Director of People's Leasing Company PLC in June 2010. He is also a Director of People's Finance PLC and People's Micro finance Limited.

He is an Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public and holds a BA (Hons.) Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and has served as a Director at the Ceramics Corporation.

Mr. Srinimal Perera was appointed as a Director of PLCL in August 2011. He is also a Director of PF and Ocean View Development Company Limited as well as the Chairman of Lanka Logistics & Technologies Limited.

Prior to joining PLCL in August 2011, he served as Executive Consultant of Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Private) Limited, Director/General Manager at Matale Packaging (Private) Limited, Director of Noritake Pannala (Private) Limited, Director of Lanka Ceramic Limited, member of Labour Advisory Council and Director of Lanka Salt Limited. Mr. Perera has also served at International Computers Limited as an Accountant and M/s. R. K. Fryer & Company in UK as an Audit Senior.

In 1998, Mr. Perera was awarded "Best Chief Executive" by the Sri Lanka Association of the Advancement of Quality and Productivity in 1998. He has completed up to the final stage of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is a holder of Diploma in Accountancy and Higher National Diploma in Finance from UK.

Mrs. Manoli Jinadasa was appointed as a Director of PLCL in August 2011. She is also a Director of PF and Qualitea Ceylon (Private) Limited. Mrs. Jinadasa is an Attorney-at-Law with 15 years of active practice in the areas of Industrial Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Contracts, Torts and Commercial Law.

Apart from her career as a legal practitioner, she has served as the Ombudsman at Sri Lankan Airlines Limited for the Policy against sexual harassment from year 2005 to 2009.
