The company has a Centralized IT team for all its subsidiaries. At present, People's Leasing Group has fully computerized all the activities such as Leasing, Hire Purchasing, Islamic Finance facilities, Savings & Investments with an online general ledger. Apart from the core business, human-resource management functions, payroll process and Inventory Management solutions are also fully computerized for all the companies in People's Leasing Group. All the subsidiaries, branches and window offices are fully computerized.

A comprehensive decision support system has been implemented for strategic decision making to the top management which is a main requirement of company. The company has very strong Management Information System, which provides in time accurate information for all business aspects.
Also, adequate system training was provided to all users in a system-friendly manner. In particular, region-wise cross-training programs were conducted to provide users with an understanding of the whole system, irrespective of their specialized areas. At the time when CRIB system launched, they select People's Leasing Company as the first customer to launch the system. They have done pilot projects with several customers and among them; we are selected as the first customer. Furthermore CRIB has rated People's Leasing as the number one accurate data provider.
People's Leasing Company launched a Debit card with PEB for the first time as a new step up with the new technology. In order to take the benefit of the technology to improve customer satisfaction, the company has implemented a SMS system along with the debit card, to track the debit card transactions.

The intent of a Disaster Recovery Plan is to provide a written and tested plan directing the computer system recovery process in the event of an interruption in continuous service resulting from an unplanned and unexpected disaster. A detailed Business Continuity Plan is in place along with the disaster recovery plan.
The mission of the Disaster Recovery Plan is to establish defined responsibilities, actions and procedures to recover the computer, communication and network environment in the event of an unexpected and unscheduled interruption. The plan is structured to attain the following objectives,
- Recover the physical network, applications within the Critical Time
- Frames established and accepted by the user community.
- Minimize the impact on the business with respect to losses and
- operational interference.
Since the company has proper disaster recovery plan in place, it was able to recover the operations of Galle Branch within very short period at the Tsunami Disaster.
